If your opting to install free standing furniture, then junk shops and flea markets are the perfect place to head to. Wooden tables and chester draws, waxed in an old fashion and retro style can give your kitchen that vintage look which is unavailable in the main stream furnituire stores.
Secondly accessories. Charity shops and auctions are a great place to start at. There are plenty of vintage napkins and cutlery which can be purchased at a great price. Simple things like changing the shades on your lights or repainting the doors and units can give your kitchen a fresh new image and feel.
