Two-bedroom apartment in London for £20 million

The buyer is François Pinault – French founder of luxury goods company, majority shareholder of PPR (the brands include Gucci, Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent and Puma) whose son François-Henri is married to actress Salma Hayek. The property is a two-bedroom apartment in Chelsea, south west London.
The house was designed by Philip Webb in 1968 for the watercolour painter George Price Boyce and was bought in 1970 by Professor Bernard Nevil for £80,000. He made more than £19 million profit selling it to François Pinault. Read more of this post
