The Shard explorers got a lot of attention last weekend after posting some incredible panoramic pictures of London on their blog, taken from the top of Europe’s tallest building. As it turns out now, this is work of an organized explorer crew, who are eager to discover places that seem unfeasible to reach.
Bradley Garrett, who is one of the urban explorers, tolled that he’s been climbing phenomenal buildings and discovering other extreme places for three years now. He calls himself a member of the London Consolidation Crew, which consists over twenty full-time students and professionals. This crew is part of an international urban explorer crew with groups in Paris, New York, Stockholm, Russia and Minneapolis. They seem to meet up often to go exploring together. A month ago they had a meeting in Antwerp with 120 people down in the sewer. Read more of this post
